Bulgarian Business Absorbs 256 Mln Euro under EU-funded Programme Competitiveness11.06.2012Bulgarian corporate beneficiaries are entitled to receive over 500 million levs (9 million/256 million euro) in aid under EU-funded operational programme Competitiveness, the minister in charge of EU funds absorption, Tomislav Donchev, said.
Bulgarian corporate business made great progress in recent years, as the quality of proposed EU-backed projects has improved significantly and unrealistic expectations have been left behind, state-run Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) quoted Donchev as saying on Friday.
The money disbursed under operational programme Competitiveness goes to finance activities such as the purchase of advanced equipment and the licensing for European-recognized standards.
